“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.”Maria Robinson

The last few weeks have been an interesting journey as I have re-evaluated my vision and some of my goals.  Just when I think that I’ve got things under control and I am in the groove of life, something shifts and I am stunned at what shows up.  I started back into my Spiritual Practitioner Practicum.  This is a huge undertaking with assignments and the study required to pass my exam in October.  My body decided to go into menopause and give me more symptoms that I ever thought I would have.  Actually my ego was a little bruised since I thought it would never happen to me!  Ha!!!!  One of my new goals is to surrender to what is happening with the changes my body is going through and walk this new journey with grace and kindness to myself.

I am also taking time to re-evaluate my goals and get very clear about what I desire to accomplish in the next year.  This is a good thing to do for I know that I am not the same person that I was at this time last year.  I suggest that you take inventory of your goals and check in with yourself to see if what you thought was important a year a go is true for you today.

Change is the one constant we can always count on.  Nothing stays the same and sometime the harder we try to hang on to what was, angst and fear grow roots into our thought patterns.  Surrender means to accept what is and allow the flow of life/Spirit to move through us so that we can be guided to what is next for us on our journey.

Affirmation:  Today I embrace change in my life. I know that the Universe is always changing and evolving.  Change is imminent.  I feel accepting, calm and peaceful knowing that I am capable of handing change with ease, grace and dignity.  And so it is!
