Each night before I go to sleep I practice feeling gratitude for no other reason than to feel it and raise my vibrational energy.  I don’t need to think about the reasons I am grateful to feel gratitude.  I feel gratitude for the sake of feeling it.  When my mind grabs hold of a thought or reason to be grateful I let it go and focus on the feeling.

This is a different concept from having the attitude of gratitude.  When we are thinking of experiences and people to feel grateful for, we are searching for a reason to feel grateful rather than allowing the energy of gratitude to be present as a result of my state of being.

As a result I find that I feel loving, open, present and energized.  Give this a try and let me know how it works for you.
